My wife, a registered nurse, used to work in labor and delivery at Baltimore’s St. Agnes Hospital. When I spoke to groups touring the OCME, I liked pointing out that my family covers both ends of the life continuum, providing cradle-to-grave care. That was a reliable laugh line. Then my wife took a job at an outpatient urology clinic. I was happy for her, but the job forced me to come up with new urology-related material. I texted her:

I’m having difficulty urinating.

Within minutes, she texted back.

OMG, what’s wrong? Weak stream? Incomplete emptying?

I put my underwear on backwards this morning, The vent is in back. Very difficult to pee like that.

LOL. Fix your underpants. You almost gave me a heart attack
